J.B. Hunt Expands its Last Mile Business with Cory Acquisition

Congratulations to NHDA members JB Hunt and Cory Home Delivery on the successful completion of this major transaction. On January 9th J.B. Hunt announced that had agreed to acquire New Jersey-based Cory 1st Choice Home Delivery for $100 million. Cory Home Delivery was founded in New Jersey in 1934. Patrick Cory is a founding director of the NHDA. Cory Home Delivery will go into the Final Mile division Dedicated Services business unit of J.B. Hunt. With the Cory acquisition, Hunt said, “Final Mile will grow to include 100 locations and over 3.1 million square feet of warehouse and facilities space.”
