Collaborative councils focused on an industry specific topics of interest.

The Women in Home Delivery Council promotes opportunities and connections for women leaders in the bulky goods final mile industry. Programming includes presentations by women business leaders talking about their journey in the home delivery industry and networking receptions at industry conferences including Home Delivery World and Women in Trucking.

Women in Home Delivery Council

The RMC brings together legal, insurance and risk management experts to serve as a resource for the NHDA members and as focal point for programming related to this critical industry challenge.

The RMC regularly present topics on managing insurance costs, technology innovations, reducing risk in operations, and meeting compliance challenges.

Risk Management Council

The Advocacy Council provides a framework for NHDA members to engage collectively in the federal, state and regulatory arenas on behalf of the home delivery industry.

The NHDA focuses on legislative and regulatory matters regarding employer misclassification, preserving the independent contractor model, reducing risk and liability exposure. The NHDA works directly on behalf of the members as well as through like-minded coalitions and trade groups.

Advocacy Council

The demands of retailers, the expectations from investors, and the need to be “part of the solution” for addressing climate change have elevated sustainability to a core operational need for final mile logistics. The Sustainability Council provides strategies, insights, and access to experts for meeting this critical challenge.
